Johnny is an Irish director living in London. His work spans live action, stop frame animation, CGI and lots between.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art, his short films (including Procrastination) have been screened on BBC, ARTE, PBS and been programmed and awarded at film festivals around the world including Palm Springs, Clermont-Ferrand and Edinburgh international film festivals.

Johnny is based at Oscar-nominated Nexus Studios, in London. The stop motion advertisement he directed for Chipotle, ’Back to the Start’, won the Film Grand Prix at the Cannes Advertising Festival. 

He likes plants, but tends to kill them.


Lead Actor: Monica Dolan

Monica Dolan is a Bafta award winning actress whose work spans stage, television and film. 

Highlights include Appropriate Adult, for which she won the Bafta, Witness For The Prosecution, The Casual Vacancy, feature film Eye In The Sky opposite Helen Mirren and the late Alan Rickman and, of course, W1A.
